Viewer’s favourite, child prodigy, the bubbly Nanhi is back in a new avatar, that too of goddess Durga. Child actor, Ashnoor Kaur who has previously played central characters in a number of  mythological and historical shows, is all set to enter COLORS show Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga. The cheerful, Punjabi girl who played the character of Nanhi in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha will now be seen playing a powerful yet child like character of Durga Maa.

The concept of the show is weaved around the different avataars of Durga through an interesting storyline and Ashnoor will be seen playing a pivotal role. Taking on the responsibility of essaying the role of a young goddess, can be a daunting task for anyone. However, Ashnoor is confident that Maa Durga herself will help her enact this role. After all, Ashnoor is the queen of mythology now! Talking about her role, Ashnoor said, “As I was growing up, my parents always narrated stories on mythology and many gods, I have always been fascinated with them. And, I really believe that I have been chosen by god to play the role of chhoti Durga. I hope my viewers like me in the show.”
