Well, it wasn’t a surprise for Gautam’s fan who had incessantly been voting for him. It was a clean sweep for season’s villain turned hero (thanks to Karishma Tanna, who gave him a platform to prove himself!)
From the fabulous five – Ali, Dimpy, Pritam, Karishma and Gautam, it was Dimpy who was the first one to get out of the house. After her shocking exit, it was Ali who left the house with ‘Ek number manas’, Ajaz. Now it was the race between the top three finalists- Karishma, Pritam and Gautam, when known journalist Rajat Sharma gave them an offer, which was too tempting to resist!
Remember that golden suitcase with 25 Lakh rupees? Yes, the trio was given 3 minutes to decide if they wanted to quit the race and take 25 Lakh home. Pritam was a little hesitant but he had made up his mind to take whatever was apparent and leave the race. He stated- “I am confident, but not over confident.” Although, his wife expressed her disapproval quite frankly but finally it was revealed that Pritam was not the winner.
Now we were down to the two finalists- Karishma and Gautam. Everyone waited with the bated breath for the results and finally the moment arrived when Farha raised Gautam’s hand and declared him the winner of Bigg Boss 8- Halla Bol!
Gautam looked quite ecstatic but wasn’t really surprised. Somewhere he knew that he was going to win as he requested Farha to hand the trophy to his mother. He then went ahead and hugged his brother Mohit, who had been a constant support for him through the season.
Yet another season of Bigg Boss came to the finale and now if you are thinking what will you do at 9 pm now? Well, you’ll have another addiction starting February 2nd- Chakravartin Samrat Ashoka. Don’t miss it!
