Yashji may have left us all with shattered hearts but his memories will live with us forever. The Maker of Romance passed away recently but his movies have left a huge impression on us. He taught the world how to romance in mustard fields wearing chiffon sarees and colorful sweaters. And to commemorate his excellence, the team of IGT played a special AV in the Semi Final 2 episode followed by one minute silence.
In his years of working Yashji had worked with the best in the field and that included our three judges, Karan Johar, Kirron Kher and Farah Khan. They were not only close professionally but also on a personal level and hence when the AV was played Kirron Kher and Karan Johar couldn't control their tears for long. Karan in fact, made an exit and didn't watch it completely but Kirronji stood by and was seen comforted by Farah Khan who herself was teary-eyed. The shoot was then stopepd for few hours till the judges felt better.
Truly, Yashji has touched our hearts in some way or the other. Today also when we watch his movies, be it Kabhie Kabhie or Silsila or even VeerZara, the romance still warms our hearts. Our judges too have worked with Yashji on many films, in fact Karan Johar started his career as an assistant director in Aditya Chopra's directorial venture Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jagyenge. And interestingly it was Kirron Kher who had suggested the title to Yashji. Bollywood in itself is a big family and losing one of its own came as a big shock to all. But as they say, the show must go on. Yashji will always hold a special place in our lives and todays' episode is dedicated in his name.
