Colors' flagship talent reality show India's Got Talent is up and ready with its 4th season and will premiere on 22nd September 2012 at 10pm. Yesterday, the new judges met with the press and expressed their views about the show and what it truly means to them.
India's Got Talent has seen many extraordianry and unique talents in the past 3 seasons and this year it promises to be no different. Coming back with a spark, this year the IGT crew has covered the length and breadth of the country and promises to bring to the forefront talents which hvae been unheard and unseen. India's Got Talent has taken on its shoulders to show to the world the hidden talents of our evolving country and to show what India is really made of.
Commenting on the show, Manisha Sharma, Weekend Programming Head, COLORS said, “India’s Got Talent is a celebration of the diverse talent that India has to offer and we are proud to present another exciting season. This time, the platform will set a new benchmark in presentation and talent; we have infact crossed all boundaries and have stepped outside of the studio to present some real edgy and engaging action from the spot.”
Present yesterday were the three judges out of which two are the new entires in the judges' panel. Kirron Kher, Karan Johar and Malaika Arora Khan spoke highly about the show and told us what makes them connect to this platform. Talking about judging India’s Got Talent for the first time, Karan Johar says,” India’s Got Talent is the only show that does not limit itself to singing-dancing rather extends the stage to a variety of talent and is a launch pad for newcomers. At Dharma Productions too, we have given a break to various artists, directors, actors and been part of their success story, which is a huge high. I am looking forward to many life changing experiences like these on India’s Got Talent.”
Kirron Kher, who can now be termed as the official face of India's Got Talent as she has been a judge on the show from the first season said, “his is my fourth year of judging India’s Got Talent and the stage is not new to me, I know what India’s Got Talent is capable of and the responsibility of bringing the best is on our shoulders. This season, the bar has been raised and the quality of the talent has just gone up completely. We have already seen some spectacular talent and I cannot wait to take on this new journey of discovering some more.”
