Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa was never an easy task for its celebrity contestants, but this season, the judges have decided to make things a little difficult with the ‘Out of Box’ challenges. And this time, the judges are in the mood for some mix and match as they have thrown the ‘Dance Fusion’ challenge at the contestants!
The rules are simple- The contestants will have to fuse two or more dance forms in their act. The contestants can choose to merge a traditional dance form with a western one, or go fully traditional or western. And as Remo said, they can fuse together as many dance forms as they’re comfortable with, as long as the results are stunning. For contestants who are still struggling with individual dance forms, it will be a doubly daunting job to take on two dance forms at a time!
But then the judges threw another beamer at them, by declaring that there would be no use of props in this challenge. That’s right, after being completely dependant on the wheels prop to enhance their act; the contestants will have no support from props this time around. Because this time, the judges want to see pure dance from the contestants.
The ‘Jhalak on Wheels’ challenge proved to be quite a task for the contestants last week. While Lauren, Shaan and Sonali-Sumant did a great job of handling the props, Sidharth and Shweta lost out on precious marks after their performance. And with the judges wanting to see dance fusion this week, we wonder how the contestants will take on this challenge!
