Everyone leaves for the court with a hope. The case seems to be too simple to everyone. RK' s lawyer is also too confident of the case being open and shut. Patil puts forward his arguments and justifications, which says that RK shot Sultan only in self defense and there wasn't anything intentional. Shivdutt Marathe hasn't even reached the court yet. His associates are unable to answer or question anything. Patil succeeds in convincing the Judge and almost proves that RK is innocent. 

Before Judge could give his verdict, Shivdutt Marathe reaches the court and stops the judge from giving any verdict unless he listens to his part. The judge stops and allows him to talk. He starts with introducing RK's character and personality other than an actor. He tells about all the earlier mess that RK had created. Hitting and running the man walking on the road, hitting the journalists, marrying Madhu only with 4 pheras, he being an unwanted child of Mohan Kundra etc. Things like these are revealed in the court. RK fumes in anger and Madhu is scared with the way Shivdutt is talking in the court.

And finally he proves RK wrong and asks him to cancel his bail and take him in custody. Judge orders to put RK in the jail and gives the date of next hearing where the proves would be put forward.
