Colors new show Rangrasiya depicts the violent love story of Rudra and Paro who meet under unfortunate circumstances. Set with the backdrop of Rajasthan the story follows the journey of Paro (Sanaya Irani) and how she falls in love with our unlikely hero Rudra played Ashish Sharma. 
But doing a character like Paro was not an easy task for Sanaya. It was a different experience from the character that she has played before and that is what exactly she wanted to do in this new venture. “I was scared my body will get adapted to the bubbly kind of roles I have always done and I was very much eager to try out something different. When I heard the script of Rangrasiya I felt inclined to it immediately.”

Getting in to the character turned out to be quite a challenge for Sanaya and she discussed the same with us. “Initially I couldn’t understand how much was needed to be done for each scene. Over the course of the shooting I started to understand the character much better and thanks to the wonderful crew that we have who helped me at every point.”

Now that Rangrasiya has already been aired on TV Sanaya believes that all the efforts of the team have paid off. “When Saurabhji (producer) narrated the story to me it all sounded larger than life which is usually the case when you sit through the first narration. But I’m really glad to see that the final result is exactly how I expected it to be.”

It is also the reactions of the fans and family that has made Sanaya feel over the moon and she believes that good work always gets appreciated. “My family and friends, people from industry have all told me that I look pretty and the show seems promising. But more importantly I believe that when in your heart you know that what you’re doing is worthy then nothing else matters.”
