After getting instigated by Siddhi, Kunal realizes his responsibilities and experiences a sudden change in attitude. He stomps off to meet Abhay at the Diwan mansion. Seeing Kunal, Abhay starts ridiculing him and taunts him of being incapable of saving his own sons life. Kunal retaliates and pledges to return every single dime that he had ever spent on Anand. Abhay laughs his unattainable claims and swears to destroy his life and career. Watch the verbal war between the two in this video

Meanwhile Siddhi returns home and meets Raj, who appreciates her efforts for shaking Kunal from the dream and bringing him back to this competitive world. Siddhi shares her grief and tells him that to stir Kunal’s ego, she had to fill his heart with hatred and that she hates it now! On the other hand, Seema blames Siddhi for the Anand’s (Diwan) state and the accident. Watch how Seema accuses Siddhi!

Anokhi and Seema have an argument over Siddhi, when Anokhhi tries to convince her about how caring Siddhi is!  Seema refuses to believe Anokhi’s observation and says that Siddhi is a player and knows when to play the emotional cards very well. Richa reaches Chopra House early in the morning and announces that she has a brilliant business plan for Kunal. Siddhi and Seema try to shrug her off, but Kunal and Veena encourage Richa’s motives as Kunal agrees for the partnership. Much to Richa’s will, she pounces onto another opportunity to be a part of Kunal’s life and decides to make most of this chance. On the other hand Siddhi regrets and blames herself for provoking Kunal to be a big and successful man by drawing parallels between him and Abhay. Watch Richa's next plan unfold here!

Interestingly, Siddhi convinces Vikram to propose business partnership to Kunal so that he declines Richa’s offer and Vikram takes up the challenge and very easily succeeds. Kunal gets an offer to join any of  Vikram’s three companies and he choose the Wall Clock manufacturing company to give a direct competition to Abhay. Abhay feels the threat but doesn’t let it show. He also realizes that he has also lost an old client to Kunal. 

Vengeful Abhay invites Chopras and Kunal to the New Year party and Kunal obliges him. Abhay then starts ridiculing Kunal by saying that he should start selling his stock outside stationary shops. Kunal quietly listens to Abhay’s ranting as he goes on boasting about how he has been able to steal the deal that was supposed to be Kunal’s first success. 

Siddhi goes and confronts Abhay for insulting her husband and family. Abhay warns her that he would destroy Kunal and his business and shares his trick with Siddhi (Watch now!) Siddhi challenges him that she will always be by Kunal’s side. Just as the clock strikes 12 and people exchange New Year’s greetings, Income Tax officers raid Abahy’s house and arrest him.
