Anshu Kumar

Anshu Kumar is a young 11-year-old boy. He lives with his Grandfather who works in an Agarbatti Factory. He loves Contemporary dance form and thought that Patna city has more scope for it rather than the village he belongs to, where he used to live with his parents. He lives away from his parents just because of his passion for dance. Anshu is from some remote village near Patna. He is in the 4th standard and has been learning dance for the past 2 years. Anshu stays with his ‘Dadaji’ in Patna but his family lives in the village. He belongs to a poor family. His Mother is a housewife; Father is a farmer and he has one younger brother and three younger sisters. He came to Patna with his father 2 and half years back because of his interest in dance. He was unable to join any of the dance institutes because he couldn’t afford to pay the fees. Later he was introduced to Mausam, Owner of ‘Nrityangan Sansthan’. She liked Anshu & his dedication towards dance. Now he is getting trained at ‘Nrityangan Sansthan’ for free of cost. His father says that he is crazy about dancing; he can dance anywhere, like at a small get together or on the road.
