Its time for Balika Vadhu team to celebrate! Colors brings People's Choice Awards to India and best from movies, TV, sports and music have been nominated for each category and our Balika Vadhu has managed to grab spots in four categories! As you guys are the ones who are the judges in this award function, the actors of the show are desperately waiting to see the results.
The four categories that Balika Vadhu has been nomintaed are: Best TV Drama, Best Ensemble Cast, Best Tv Actress – Pratyusha Banerjee (Anandi) and Best On-Screen Jodi – Anandi & Shiv. In a recent interview Siddharth Shukla, who plays the role of Shiv, expressed his happiness over being nomintated in Best on-Screen Jodi. He went on to say that he's happy that fans are liking his performance and even if he doesn't manage to win he would take this as a confidence vote. Well, we sure do love our jodi of Anandi and Shiv, don't we?
Even Pratyusha (Anandi) was pretty excited about being nomintaed and for her its double whammy as she has managed to bag spots in both Best Actress and Best on-Screen Jodi categories. But let us tell you guys, this isn't a new thing for her. Our Anandi has been nominated several times before as she has been doing this character for more than two years and doing it well!
Even in Best Jodi category Pratyusha has been nomintaed before but with her then on-screen husband Shashank Vyas (Jagya). But she has no qualms about being nominated with Siddharth this year and said she will be more than happy to win with Siddharth as she has already won an award in the same category with Shashank before. She in fact, considers herself to be lucky to be working with two of the most handsomest men of telly world.
Even Jagya is of the opinion that these two deserve an award for all the efforts they put in and supports them completely. We are liking all this love among the trio!
Well, who will win will be decided soon and we are sure each fan of Balika Vadhu has casted their votes in order to see their favorite jodi hold the trophy, till then why don't you catch up on what's happening in Balika Vadhu?
