The 11th Indian Telly Awards ceremony is in the offing. These 11 year old awards, which are one of the most prestigious awards in the television world, will be telecast on Colors TV soon. And the association doesn't end here. This year, shows on Colors TV have been nominated in every category, making them amongst the top contenders for prizes this year, especially in the popular category.

Colors TV shows have gotten a staggering 38 nominations in the popular awards category. All of the Colors shows have gotten nominated in atleast one of the major categories. Parichay and Balika Vadhu lead the pack with the most amount of nominations. Samir Soni from parichay has been nominated for Best Lead Actor whereas the female lead, Keerti nagpure has been nominated for the 'Fresh new Face' award. Together, this desirable jodi is in the running for the 'Best On screen Couple' award. Not only this, the whole cast of Parichay is in the list of nominations for Best Ensemble cast. The not-so-holy characters too got a nod as Mona Vasu got nominated for Best Actress in a Negative Role for her portrayal of Richa Thakral. 

Balika Vadhu, which has already received adulation is also a top contender for most awards with nominations in the Best Lead Actress, best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Ensemble cast and Best Serial with a social message categories. This is an affirmation of the fact that the show is as critically acclaimed as it is popular.

The rest of the shows in the Colors stable too, have notched up nominations in major categories. Aman verma from Na Aana Is Des Laado has been nominated for Best Actor in a negative role for his loathsome performance as Bhanu Pratap. Shows like Uttaran , Sasural Simar ka, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha, Veer Shivaji round up the rest of the nomination list.

The reality presentations of Colors are not far behind with Bigg Boss, India's Got Talent and Chhottey Miyan gaining nominations in the reality categories.

With a list of nominations this long, Colors TV is sure to score big on the night of Indian Telly Awards and deservingly so!
