When Drashti found out that the nimbu-mirchi seller with whom she had swapped her life for a day on Mission Sapne made only Rs. 8 per unit of nimbu-mirchi sold, she knew that earning money for the visually challenged nimbu mirchi seller would be a tough task at hand. The onscreen Madhubala then realised that she will have to figure out a creative way to earn more money.
She met a mother-daughter duo on the road, she realized that it would be difficult to sell nimbu-mirchi to them. At this point, Drashti used the lucky charm as a fashion accessory, hanging the nimbu-mirchi on the little girl’s earring. Drashti also went on to say that this is the new fashion statement in town! Drashti grabbed the golden opportunity when she spotted a BMW, convincing the owner to buy nimbu-mirchi at Rs. 100!
She not only agreed to dance on the road with a fan of hers for money, but she also said a dialogue from Madhubala for an old couple on the road. “RK, main tumse bohot pyaar karti hoon,” she said. She did not stop there; the actress went on to make the old couple say the three words to one another. The blushing old couple could not say no to Madhubala!
Just for a good cause, she gave away a few units of nimbu-mirchi – one to an excited pair of school girls in a school bus at a traffic signal and the other to her friend and actress Nigar Khan when she bumped into her!
We’re sure for all you Drashti fans this episode will be a treat to watch and seeing her in this noble avatar is sure to warm your hearts!
