Bigg Boss 7, a season of fights, controversies and romance is finally over, and Gauahar Khan has emerged as the winner of this very very entertaining season. Woohoo!

The contest on the last day was between Gauahar, Tanishaa, Ajaz and Sangram, and Sangram was the first finalist to fall out of the race. Bigg Boss threw a final googly as he showed an  amount on screen, and asked the contestants to hit the buzzer to take the money and leave. But all the finalists refused to take the money and Sangram got evicted nevertheless.

Ajaz was the next to go and the final fight was between Tanishaa and Gauahar. The two ladies were overwhelmed as they switched the lights of the house and stepped out of the Bigg Boss door together.

Finally, in the presence of family, friends, and ex-contestants, Gauahar and Tanishaa stood with Salman and waited for the big announcement. When Salman declared Gauahar the winner, she was speechless and only managed to rush to her sister Nigaar and mother and hug them in disbelief.  Dressed in a brilliant shimmering gold gown with a thigh high slit, Gauahar also knelt down to kiss the stage before ecstatically accepting the trophy from Salman Khan.

Gauahar’s Bigg Boss journey has been a chequered one, with big highs and depressing lows. Her dominating behaviour was criticized by housemates, including boyfriend Kushal Tandon. On the other hand, her fighter spirit and strong character was praised by all.

Apart from the Bigg Boss trophy, Gauahar has also gotten the love of millions of fans and Kushal Tandon, with whom she shares a special bond. About her win, Gauahar says, “I want to thank Kushal as he supported me throughout my stay in the house. I couldn't believe it when Salman announced my name and that's why I was speechless on stage.”

In the end, all the fights, tears, heartbreak and efforts were worth it as Gauahar takes home the Bigg Boss trophy (interestingly designed like the gates of Heaven and Hell) and the 50 lakh prize money, along with superb memories and a shot at superstardom.
