Hunar Hali is known to her fans for her convincing portrayal of Neha/ Aditi in the new Colors show Chhal: Shah aur Maat. Though she is not a newcomer in the show business, with 5 shows in her repertoire, she is one actor who is really confident of her acting skills. So much so that she feels she can do a better job in the acting department than Deepika Padukone.

Yes, she may be playing a simple girl who is threatened by her male lead in the show, but in reality she is a feisty girl who believes she can give Deepika Padukone a run for her money. Claims Hunar, “I really believe I could have done a much better job than Deepika Padukone in Love Aaj Kal. The role required a lot of emoting but her face and eyes did not show any sentiment.”

On the other hand, Hunar is all praise for Saif Ali Khan in the movie. According to her, he was fabulous in his portrayal of Jai in the movie. But Deepika Padukone fell short of giving a good performance. Hunar says, “The climax of the film had great lines and moments, but as Deepika couldn’t emote, it fell short of a great scene. I’m sure I would have done a better job in the movie. If done properly, there would not be a single dry eye in the theatre.”

So looks like Hunar has some major issues with Deepika’s acting skills. Let’s hope she gets enough opportunities to showcase her acting talent in her current show Chhal: Shah aur Maat
