It’s an old story how Keerti Nagpure a.k.a Siddhi used to have a huge crush on Samir Soni much before she had even faced camera. The actress, who has come a long way from acting in a regional Marathi channel to one of the top GECs in the country, used to collect his pictures and paste them in a diary. 

It’s obvious that her excitement knew no bounds when she was offered a role opposite him, but what is more exciting is, even after working with him as a professional to sharing a rapport this fondness has only grown larger. Keerti, who is a romantic at heart, loves Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and SRK, and aspires to do a strong role like Dadisa from Balika Vadhu. 

In Parichay she is playing the role of a middle class family girl, Siddhi, who has been married to Kunal Chopra played by Samir Soni. Although, both share a great camaraderie off screen and have won the Golden Petal Awards for the Most Lokpriya Jodi, but when asked about one reason that has made the show so popular, she didn’t take a second to come up with the name. Samir Soni, ofcourse!
