Just as the contestants were finding their feet on the Jhalak stage, the judges have decided to make finding balance a little more difficult. The celebrity contestants have managed to survive the first week, and some contestants like Lauren, Drashti and Karanvir have even managed to impress the judges. But at the end of the 1st week, the judges had a surprise for the contestants.

The jury announced that at the end of every week, they would pull out one out-of-the-box idea from their Red Box. And this idea will set the tone for the coming week. And in its first outing, the Red Box revealed a pair of skates! Yes, in the coming episodes of Jhalak, the contestants will have to include a pair (or two) wheels in their acts. Jhalak on Wheels, get it?

The contestants were understandably surprised with getting wheels as a prop. Most of them are still grappling with the basics of dance and to dance with wheels, which have a mind of their own at most times is going to be difficult.

The only contestants we can see being relaxed about this act is Sonali and Sumanth. You see, they already performed with Sonali on wheels this week as Sonali was injured. And they did a pretty good job out of it, managing to get great remarks from the judges.

The contestants can take inspiration from the classic ‘Hawa Ke Saath Saath’ song where Hema Malini and Sanjeev Kumar managed to have fun even with skates on. Do you think the contestants will manage to ‘wheel’ themselves into the judges’ hearts?
