Now that you know that 'Kairee:Rishta Khatta Meetha' will telecast its last episode on the 14th, that is today, we're sure that you will miss the show that added the daily tadka to your evenings. But what about the actors that made the characters in the show come alive? We give you a lowdown of what they're feeling about the show going off air and their future plans
Hema Singh (Imarti Devi): I am very happy that I got to play Imarti Devi in Kairee. I gave a lot of myself to the character in terms of the mannerisms and language. And I am very thankful for the positive response that the show and I got as long as it was on-air. This was my first experience of working in a television show and all my co-stars made it a great experience by helping me and also being great co-stars to be with in between takes. About my future plans, I want to do more television but I will wait till a role as strong as Imarti Devi comes to me. Till then, I will go back home and enjoy Christmas and New Year with my family, as I have missed them a lot in this year!
Preeti Choudhary (Ambi): The last day of shoot was a very emotional one for all of us. We had a small party after we wrapped up where we said good bye to each other. I have loved being Ambi for all these months as such a strong bahu role is very hard to come by. Apart from the character, the best part was that there was no groupism on the sets. We were one big family who used to hang out between takes. I still can't believe that we'll not be shooting anymore, that feeling will take time to sink in. After playing Ambi, I'll wait for a strong lead role. Till then, I'm off to my hometown for a week to meet my family!
Roshni Shetty (Sajni): After playing a drug addict and other roles, Sajni was one of my most popular characters. I had a blast playing the role. I missed the last day of shoot as I was away for my wedding (That we had told you about earlier). I'll miss Preeti, Naman, Dipti and everyone else on the sets. But I'm going to take a break and go to the US with my husband.
Dipti Dhyani, who essayed the role of Kusum in the show, got married to actor Sooraj Thapar near the end of the show. What was interesting was, the rest of the cast wrapped up their last day of shoot sadly and then participated in Dipti's wedding celebrations!
We tried to get through to Naman Shaw, but couldn't get through to him. But he was present on the last day of shoot and the farewell party that happened on the sets.
So now you know what the Kairee stars are feeling about their show's end. But one sentiment is common among all of them. All of them are thankful for the love and support of the audience. And they are also leaving with a promise to be seen on the small screen soon. We wish the whole cast All the best for the future!
