After donning multiple hats as a film director, producer, actor, screenwriter, stylist and a television host and mastering each one of them, Karan Johar has added one more feather in his cap! Yes, as a judge on India's most popular Celebrity dance show, JHalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Judging a dance show like this is a big challenge for someone who is a non-dancer, but since Karan is known to direct most of his dance sequence along with the dance directors,he can see a larger picture and analyse it very well.

On the show Karan shares the spotlight with the Dance Diva, Madhuri and India's most loved choreographer, Remo D’souza and being the third judge could have been a challenge for him. But Voilà! His excellent analytical skills and honesty is being appreciate. One of the large parts of filmmaking is song and dance in India and since he has shot over 50 songs, with hits like Chikni Chameli, Shava Shava and Koi Mil gaya.. his judgement cannot be questioned.  

As a judge, Karan has been a keen observer so far. He points out every single thing that could take each performance higher by several notches. In every Judgement he takes into consideration all the elements begining with postures to costumes, dance to expressions, concept to energy, he won’t miss a chance to bring out the best in our contestants. 

Apart from pointing out the wrong, we also get to hear him praise in abundance! Standing ovations, perfect scores, heartwarming comments, hugs, and a lot of love oozes out when he is absolutely sees the contestant give their 100%
