It is said that if you throw a pebble in the TV industry, it will hit someone who dreams of being a part of the film industry. But barring a lucky few, not many get the chance to see this dream become a reality. And now, Leena Jumani, who plays Mala in Kairee, has joined this list of TV stars taking the big leap to Bollywood. That too, in a film that has all the makings of a blockbuster.

Ok lets cut to the chase here. The film we are talking about is the remake of the 1983 film Himmatwala. And Leena is in great company as she gets a chance to act alongside Ajay Devgn, Tamannah, Zarina Wahab and Mahesh Manjrekar. Leena plays Ajay Devgan's sister in the cult remake.

Not just that, on August 22, the mahurat shot of the remake was shot. And our Mala, aka Leena Jumani was also part of the first shot. In fact, while introducing Leena to the camera, Sajid Khan said,”She is a very big name in the TV industry.” He also added that she had worked in many serials. We're very proud Leena. 
So even as she is trying to sabotage Ambi and Anuj's married life in her Mala avatar, Leena is also playing Ajay Devgn's innocent little sister on the big screen. We hope that this pivotal role is a stepping stone to even greater success for our pretty lass. All the best Leena!
