Have you been dismayed by the news that your favourite show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha is going off air? Here's a ray of sunshine for you. This very popular Colors show is going to be back with its second season! Yes, you heard it from us and you can start celebrating.
Na Bole Tum… has managed to win a million hearts in a short period of time. The story of a widow, Megha and the free-as-wind bachelor Mohan touched hearts across India and made a special place in the lives of Youngistan.
It is probably because of this fact that Colors has decided that it is too soon to bid the show good bye and will bring it back to the viewers after a short hiatus of 3 months. The current track will end on 5th October, so stay tuned to the show to know how it ends. And that is not the end of the story. The twist in this happy tale is that the show will have a brand new script, a new storyline but all your favourite actors present. Now that's a double whammy!
The news of the show reaching its end was met by a phenomenal response from the fans of the show who were not ready to part with their favourite characters-Mohan, Megha, Nanhi and Addu. This response was one of the main reasons why Na Bole Tum…will be the first Colors fiction show to have a Season Two.
Unsurprisingly, the lead pair is really happy about this development. Says Akanksha, who plays Megha on the show,”We have developed a strong bond by working for hours together, the cast is now almost like an extended family. I can’t wait to know what the new season, story and my character will be like! I am thankful to the audiences for loving Megha so much, I promise to comeback soon.”
Kunal Karan Kapoor, Mohan of Na Bole Tum, adds,”It is amazing to know that we will be shooting for a second season. It is all because of our fans who have showered us with their love and support that we are coming back with a new story. I am looking forward to working on the look and characterization of Mohan in the new set up.”
Need we say that the audience too is looking forward to Na Bole Tum Version 2.0?
If you still doubt the power of fans' prayers, hear what Prashaant Bhatt, Weekday Programming Head, COLORS has to say. “When the news of Na Bole Tum going off air was communicated, we received calls from our fans asking us to revive the show. As the track for Na Bole Tum was poised to end at this juncture, we decided to use this popularity and connect of the characters to provide the audiences with a new season of the show. With this we will be giving the show a new dimension and bring in a fresh track for the viewer.”
That is what we call a happy ending.
So those of who made Mohan and Megha a part of their lives will get to see their favourite TV jodi back on screen, but after a wait of 3 months. After all, good things come to those who wait.
