Rakhi Vijan may have stayed away from television for a long time but she definitely hasn’t forgotten her skills. Rakhi is back with a bang to entertain her fans again in Colors new show Madhubala. She plays the bubbly character of Roma, a junior artiste, who dreams of becoming a big actress one day.

When we asked her about her role she said, “When I was offered Roma I immediately said yes for it. I have full faith in my team and considering such big names are associated with the show I knew this would be the perfect opportunity for me.”

We all remember Rakhi as the crazy and fun loving Sweety from Hum Paanch who would sing and dance while opening the door and irritate her on-screen sisters. But its been a while we have seen Rakhi do such antics on TV, when asked why she kept away for so long she said, “ The kind of scripts and the roles I was being offered, everything involved a lot of rona-dhona and I would have looked very fake in such roles. I am genuinely a very fun loving person and that’s the kind of roles I enjoy doing. I generally keep very low expectations in life and usually listen to my instincts. And that’s how I got Madhubala.” 

Well we sure are happy to see Rakhi back on screen and much better in the role of Roma in which a lot of glimpses can be seen of the iconic Sweety.  Keep watching Madhubala to see your favorite celeb rock your TV screen just like old times!
