Season 6 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has been one roller coaster for its celebrity contestants, with some not able to handle the ride, and having to make an exit. But looks like Jhalak seems to be an exciting prospect for some celebrities, who will be joining the biggest dance reality show as wild card entries.

The first celebrity wild card entry who will challenge the existing contestants is Rohit Roy. Rohit needs no introduction as he has been part of more than a dozen television shows, apart from playing host in several reality shows. 

This 44 year old has also ventured into movies, having acted in more than 20 movies. And not content with just being in front of the camera, he also directed a movie called ‘Rice Plate’, and also directed one of the stories in the movie ‘Dus Kahaaniyan’.  Recently, Rohit was seen hosting ‘Colors Ka Jashn’ at the Lakme Fashion Week, where he put the TV stars at ease while their looks were being reinvented. 

Rohit considers his elder brother Ronit Roy as his inspiration and father figure, and also dotes on his wife, actress Manasi Joshi Roy and his daughter. 

After a long stint in movies and TV, Rohit has now decided to try his luck with dancing in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Though we haven’t seen Rohit display too much of his dancing talent, we’re sure that the actor will be confident enough to take on the other contestants. Who knows, he might even give Kapil and Manish a run for their money with his superb anchoring skills! The actor was visibly excited to be a part of Jhalak and shared the news with his fans on Twitter with an enthusiastic tweet- ‘So guys…. Here it is… Am entering Jhalak Dikhla Jaa as a wild card entry … Need alllll ur support n love.. N VOTES of course :-)’
