Week after week Mission Sapne has been standing by its promise and fulfilling the dreams of the unfortunate ones. From Drashti Dhami to Ram Kapoor to even Karan Johar have lived the life of a common man, all in an effort to help someone’s dream come true. And this week carrying forward the mission is the Messiah of Bollywood Salman Khan.
We all know how charitable superstar Salman Khan is and even owns the NGO Being Human which helps the people in need. Qurban Ali, a barber by profession, is going to meet his maker in Salman in this Sunday’s episode of Mission Sapne.
13 years ago Qurban lost both his legs in a train accident. He has a 10 year old son and a 9 year old daughter and both study in a Government school. Basic expenses included Qurban ends up spending Rs. 15, 000 a month and because of the accident he had to shut his barber shop and now runs a ‘paan-bidi stall.’ His current business doesn’t cover up most of the expenses and his medical bills just add on to his financial woes.
Doctors have suggested that he can opt for Prosthetic Knee Joint and that will help him walk again but the operation will cost around Rs. 2.75 lakhs. Qurban is unable to pay such a big amount but the need to provide for his family and to be able to walk again has torn him apart. But soon his dreams will come true, thanks to Salman Khan!
The big-hearted actor will turn into a barber for a day and earn as much as he can to help Qurban out. Salman is known for his charitable ways and has always believed that no work is small or big if it means helping someone in need. It would be interesting to see how he manages to fulfill a barber’s role and we are sure fans will go berserk seeing their favorite actor in this avatar!
Do not forget to tune into Mission Sapne and see Salman show the real meaning of Being Human!
