No, he did not get nominated, neither did he throw any tantrum to come out of the house, but owing to his previous political commitments, the man of principles, Navjot Singh Sidhu had to opt out of the show. Sidhu will be leaving the Bigg Boss house today, following a request from his wife, Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, who is the Punjab Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Health.
Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, had submitted a request to COLORS and Endemol to let Sidhu out of the house in order to resume his party work with BJP. Believing in working for his people and party, Navjot Singh Sidhu has decided to leave the house to resume his roles and responsibilities with the BJP.
But, before letting him go, Bigg Boss asked Sidhu to break this news to the housemates and get their unanimous opinion on his decision. After speaking with them and getting their agreement, Navjot Singh Sidhu made his exit from Bigg Boss.
Sidhu had joined the show with a mission; his aim was to clean the image of the show while spreading his thoughts and positivity around. While doing so, he did break rules but all in the favour of peace and love. His compassion and patience was respected and appreciated by every housemate who looked up to him in times of dilemma. Sidhu was a father figure to some of the housemates and he himself also looked at Karishma, Sayantani and Sana as his kids.
While he gelled well with one and all, he was closest to Niketan and was mostly seen having worldly talks with Aseem, Sampat and Sapna. His cricketing and commentary stories#mce_temp_url# were a hit amongst the housemates who would listen to it with awe. Although he was never the captain of the house, the rest of the housemates looked up to him for answers, even the captains. In case of any fights, Sidhu was the first person to intervene and resolve the fights.
Out of all the tasks given to the housemates in five weeks, Sidhu was seen enjoying the ‘Major Saab Ki Sena’ task the most wherein he managed to keep a tight leash on the housemates. There were a few incidents that led us to believe that Sidhu’s high moral stand ground had rubbed the wrong side of a few housemates – Uravshi complaining about his gyaan talks, Sapna calling him a coward etc. but this however never dethroned him of his position as the ‘unspoken leader’ of the house. Known for his strong opinions and thoughts, Sidhu was force to be a reckoned with inside and now, we hope it’s the same for him outside the house as well!
Speaking on the exit, Sidhu said, “I came to Bigg Boss with an intention of changing the face of the game and I am certain that I was able to do this to an extent. The first thing I did after coming out of the house was speak to my daughter. I was overwhelmed by her opinion of me as the first thing she said to me was ‘my daddy strongest’. She looks at me as a role model and it just cannot get better than this!”
