Simar’s life has changed a lot in the last few days in Sasural Simar Ka. From getting her daughter back to finding out that Siddhant has cheated on Roli, it has been quite a journey for the lady. 

And there’s another big change on the horizon as her co-star Shoaib Ibrahim is replaced by Dheeraj Dhoopar in the role of Prem. Prem and Simar have been one of the most popular couples on screen with their understated chemistry and perfect relationship. And much of the credit for the same goes to Shoaib and Deepika, who bring the characters to life. But now with Shoaib Ibrahim leaving in search for greener pastures, the good-looking Dheeraj has taken his place. The dimpled actor has worked in several shows before, and has impressed his female following with his good looks and acting talent. And now he is all set to take up the challenge of playing a well-established character like Prem in Sasural Simar Ka. Dheeraj is well aware of the difficult job that lies ahead of him. But he is confident that he will do his best to do justice to the character and that he’ll be well-accepted by the audience. Dheeraj will start shooting for the show soon and will enter the show mid-March. 

Deepika and Shoaib’s off-screen camaraderie was the reason that their on-screen relationship was so convincing for the audience. Now with Dheeraj entering the picture, we sure hope that the couple retains the charm of Prem and Simar on the show, which recently completed 500 episodes.

And if the above picture is anything to go by, we’re sure Dheeraj is up for the challenge.
