The battle for musical supremacy in SurKshetra is now at a very crucial juncture as the contestants hurtle towards the finale. The pre-finale challenges have already begun, with India's Diljaan winning the first challenge round. And this weekend will see contestants rise up for Challenge number 2. And to encourage the contestants, SurKshetra will have a very special guest, director Mahesh Bhatt!
Now we all know that Mahesh Bhatt is as well known for the melodious songs in his films as he is for his interesting choice of films. And armed with numerous hit songs in his films, we're sure that he is more than qualified to give the young singers some advice.
But the finalists are prepared to meet this scrutiny head on. Sara, Yashraaj, Diljaan, Nabeel, Mulazim and Budhaditya will no doubt give Mr. Bhatt something to rave about. Sure, some of the finalists did not have a very good run in the first challenge. But these Surandaaz and Jaanbaaz will try their best to correct their mistakes and impress the jury and the special guest.
And as far as we know, the contestants will impress the honoured guest so much that he will have only words of encouragement for the finalists. Without a doubt, this will boost the confidence of the singers who are facing stiff competition from not only across the border, but also from their own country, as each singer stands for himself/herself.
