Uff teri ada, I like the way you move… I recollect listening to this song million times before, but the visual recollection of this song always lead me to various movie names this song could possibly belong to, until few days back.

So, it all started on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s promo shoot, where I met, Bharti Singh, the queen of comedy. Dressed in a white and golden gown, she grooved on this song. The stand up comedian with a ready wit was as humorous and witty off-screen too.

On the sets, while rehearsing she kept bursting into a contagious laughter every now and then, chatted around with everyone starting from the background dancers to the unit members, kept talking whenever she could and cracked jokes on demand. She must have come out of the sets to repeat the same joke at least thrice, if not more, on the unit’s demand.

Hang on! Before you jump to any conclusions about her sincerity and commitments, let me tell you that she is a thorough professional. Through her never-say-die spirit and knack of grasping things quicker, she added her charm and liveliness to what was a piece of simple choreography.

In the promo, you will see her lift one of the male dancers and walking away. Every time she gave the shot, there were applauds and whistles on the sets but the director would demand for one more take from our tired contestant. Finally, tired of picking the dancer after several shots she retorted, “Tu har baar Bhaari ho jaata hai,” leaving the entire unit rolling on the floor laughing.
